I have just over 38 years of clinical training and experience in diagnosing, treating and resolving problems. Throughout my clinical journey I too have been in the process of healing & recovery. I do believe the humility that comes along with my personal life experiences is one of my greatest assets as a therapist.
My true clinical passion is in helping people experience the joy that comes from victory over their difficulties. To say the least, I am in love with psychotherapy and deep healing.
As an experiential therapist from a trauma-informed perspective, I have been rigorously trained in a type of therapy that is designed to heal my own personal history before treating my clients. My experiential modalities include Role Play, Psychodrama, Psychosynthesis, Psychomotor, Affect Bridge, and other deep emotional release work techniques.
I began my career in 1983 as a counselor at an inpatient Adolescent Substance use disorder treatment center. Thereafter , I went on to obtain my master’s degree in Social Work and since then have worked in outpatient and inpatient Codependency treatment, general psychiatric facilities. Eventually , I opened my own private practice “The Center for Codependency Recovery” . I am blessed to be here today!
It would be my absolute pleasure to help guide you, help you to heal, and change your mind & behaviors to create happiness, and healthy, life affirming choices.
Love & Light,
Suzi.
