Suzi Marsh Meffen, LCSW, is a Relational Trauma Specialist with over 40 years of clinical experience helping individuals, couples, and families heal the long-term impact of emotionally injurious relationships.

Her work centers on relational trauma—the wounds that form in the context of early attachment, emotionally immature parenting, addiction, untreated mental illness, and chronic emotional instability. She specializes in working with adult children, teens, spouses, and partners of individuals affected by alcoholism/addiction, emotional and mental illness, and relational neglect, helping clients move beyond survival-based patterns into emotional clarity and secure connection.

Suzi is a former trauma therapist with extensive experience treating bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, and ADHD, and has worked in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings. This broad clinical background allows her to integrate deep relational work with a strong understanding of complex mental health presentations.

In addition to individual therapy, Suzi is highly skilled in marital and couples therapy, supporting partners as they navigate attachment injuries, relational breakdowns, and the impact of trauma and mental illness within intimate relationships.
